With the help of many, we managed to setup a beautiful home office for Otto and Max. The intro scene depicts Otto at his desk and introduces the audience to his obsessive need to put things back in their place.

Lucky again, the neighbor moved his car just in time for us to get all the daylight shots we needed. We even had some onlookers. The most challenging shot in the kitchen was trying to capture the perfect egg splatter.

Our last-minute casting of James Conolly as Brock Barnes proved to be extremely successful. We managed to pull off the most elaborate shot of the movie with 5 focus racks and plenty of camera movements.

Substituting a beanie in as a ski-mask was a bit dangerous, as Otto's mask was torn to shreds by the end of the scene. Though we still managed to get the menacing shots we needed despite a series of comedic mishaps performed by our own Samuel Child.

Christine's high point, playing Max's wife, Gloria. We shot this scene in the middle of the day and managed to make it looks like the middle of the night by blocking out the windows and using Evan's blue gels to create the moon-lit look.

Taylor's room doubled as Otto's carefully organized bedroom. All the furniture was precisely arranged to show Otto's love of simplistic routine.

We used Dan's immaculate VW Beetle for this shot in order to avoid setting any sort of specific time that the movie takes place (we also avoided telephones, computers, and IKEA furniture to complete the timelessness). And given Otto's obsessive-compulsiveness, a perfectly clean car that hasn't changed for years is right up his alley.
